A last minute project again ... I'm not much into Christmas anymore, so I almost forgot this tag.
Ok, I got out my paper and stuff again and created this tag keeping pretty close to Tim's inspiration. I wasn't able to make the shadow box station work for me, so I decided completely against it and embossed and heat embossed the paper with my stitches folder, looks good to me ....
Ok, ok, I know I'm always a very emotional person, but this time I just couldn't stop the flood.
I received my issue of the Stampington Magazin "Take Ten" and started
leafing through it since I was notified about a publication. So I found
two Christmas Cards and yet one more on the next page. I was so thrilled
because these were really some of my favorites and I have made and sent
many of them to my friends.
But, let me tell you 56 pages further into the magazine my heart simply missed many beats. On pages 106 AND 107 Devon
gave me the opportunity to show 3 ATC's I created with my favorite
stamps from Darkroom Door and another 3 cards with Invoke stamps and the
backgrounds from Rubber Dance Stamps designed by Bibi Lindahl. A two page coverage, I have never experienced such a feeling of pride before.
I feel blessed ♥
Aargh, it happened again, I forgot to take pictures, I tried to scan the magazine page for the Invoke ATC's ....
I always have cardstock in my stash with some kind of background, some in whole sheets, some already cut to card size or tags, the smaller ones into ATC's. This just had the colouring and the scratches.
I also found the wings which I must've stamped and cut a while ago, I guess at the time I didn't find any use for them.
Now I stamped the lady from Viva Las Vegastamps and the bulb from Visible Image and used bleach to take the colour away. The wings are from Rubber Dance Stamps.
To add some interest I stamped sentiments from Cherry Pie on the edges.
The sentiment on the bottom is part of a text from Dylusions.
I hope you find the time to join us, we'd love to see your UFO's ♥
Hi all! It's my turn to host our posting at the EyeConnect Craft blog today. I'd like to show you a card I made with the fun Cat from the Totem Cats set.
I started by applying
PanPastels in different colours to my panel. I added texture by inking the
hearts with a Dylusions stencil and added even more texture with Texture Paste
from Ranger and a square stencil. I rubbed some “Ground Espresso” Distress Ink
over the whole panel and stamped the crisscross on the edges.
I applied Gesso to the chip board cat
and added brown acrylic paint. After assembling the beauty with brads I adhered
it to my card with pop dots. The sentiment I used is from Viva Las VegaStamps.
